Circular, upcycled and 100% sustainable – REFIBRA™ Technology
Refibra™ is an innovative technology from Lenzing that applies pre & post-consumer cotton scraps and combining with wood pulp obtained from sustainably managed forests. Yuantex’s sustainable TENCEL™ collection is produced with REFIBRA™ technology have up to 30 % recycled content from post-consumer waste with the excellent characteristics of soft texture and skin-friendly, breathable, and compostable. In addition, Tencel fibres with Refibra technology are compostable and biodegradable in soil and water, key attributes that make possible its contributions to circular economy.
Renewable Cellulosic Fibres – ECOVEROTM Rayon
In the traditional production process, the conventional rayon is derived from wood-based cellulose, where the raw material is broken down into fibre by chemicals. However, the chemicals will be released into the environment, which will cause a big environmental issue.
Yuantex’s sustainable rayon collection is a more sustainable rayon under the name LENZINGTM ECOVEROTM, which is from responsible forestry with certified of the EU’s official eco-labels(FSC® PEFC®). The production takes place in a closed-loop, using only the organic solvent NMMO to dissolve the pulp and ensures environmentally friendly production in terms of chemicals, water and carbon footprint management. Moreover, LENZINGTM ECOVEROTM has a lower environmental impact than synthetic fabrics, it can be fully biodegradable in water, soil and compost.
